Lynette Hem-Lee, Wellness Coordinator, Cliffside Park #4, Cliffside Park, NJ wrote, as a result of their successful Health Barn assembly, “we now have a salad bar in the cafeteria and requested changes for healthier meal options were made to our school lunches.  We started a vegetable garden and one of our community chiropractors (Dr. Tim) has donated his time to teach our children about exercise…”


“Did you know that a majority of the students at the program tried edamane?  This soybean right out of the pod was given a thumb’s up!…” said administrators at Bryant Elementary, Teaneck NJ.


“They stepped out of their Happy Meal box!” said 3rd grade teacher, Dawn Lasko, of Cliffwood Elementary, Cliffwood NJ.  “And they all actually tried something new at home the next week.”


“The assembly made me try radishes on my own will,” said Nick Dolan, 3rd grader.  “P.S. I liked the radishes.”


Mrs. Catalano’s kindergarten class “dictated the following two weeks after the assembly.”  Sustained enthusiasm! Kindergarteners!!
